By car

  • From the port of Olbia

Follow the signs for the airport. Leave it on the right and continue in the direction of Murta Maria for 8 km on the SS 125. At the Murta Maria roundabout (the first one you come to after the airport), turn left towards Porto Istana. Halfway along the avenue of Porto Istana, which leads to the beach of the same name, you will see via dei Villaggi on the right. Follow it almost to the end. On the right you will find the Le Vele residence.

  • From the airport

Once you reach the main road, take the first exit on the right at the roundabout and continue in the direction of Murta Maria for 8 km on the SS 125. At the Murta Maria roundabout (the first one you come to after the airport), turn left towards Porto Istana. Halfway along the avenue of Porto Istana, which leads to the beach of the same name, you will see via dei Villaggi on the right. Follow it almost to the end. On the right you will find the Le Vele residence.

Even easier: type “Il Nido al mare Porto Istana” into Google map or Waze and follow the navigator. It will take you directly in front of the car park barrier.

Public transport

  • From the airport terminal, walk to the main road (near the Carabinieri barracks and the Jazz hotel) and take Bus. No. o5PI in the direction of Porto Istana. When you reach the hamlet of Murta Maria, get off halfway along the avenue of Porto Istana, near the junction with via dei Villaggi. Continue on via dei Villaggi on foot for about 1 km to the Le vele residence, which you will find on the right near a tennis court.
  • From the city of Olbia, take Bus. No. o5PI at the stop in Via Mameli, 6 in the direction of Porto Istana. When you reach the hamlet of Murta Maria, get off halfway along the avenue of Porto Istana, near the junction with via dei Villaggi. Continue on via dei Villaggi on foot for about 1 km to the Le vele residence, which you will find on the right, near a tennis court.
  • From the port, take the circular bus line 09, change at the stop in via Mameli, 6 and take Bus. No. o5PI in the direction of Porto Istana. When you reach the hamlet of Murta Maria, get off halfway along the avenue of Porto Istana, near the crossroads with via dei Villaggi. Continue on via dei Villaggi on foot for about 1 km to the Le vele residence, which you will find on the right, near a tennis court.
